In 1976 Terry Shrum began his apprenticeship training under architect Arthur Dyson of the Frank Lloyd Wright Institute and other noted firms such as the Walker-Pinkston Companies and Simpson and Associates. Because of his experience and training, Terry offers excellence in building design and drafting services. His extensive background includes building design and reconstruction work for a wide variety of project types and organizations, including luxury residential, commercial, industrial, health care, educational, criminal justice, private corporations and governmental buildings. Total project statistics are in excess of $300,000,000.00 and 3.2 million square feet.
Computerized Design — Architecture & Engineering
Terry Shrum’s studio is located in Roseburg, Oregon, allowing quick access to project sites throughout Idaho, Montana, Oregon and California. Terry is able to meet the special needs of a Drafting Services Provider and Building Design firm and facilitates the efficient processing of Construction Documents. Terry is also fully operational with a Computer Aided Design and Drafting (CADD) system, providing greater accuracy and quality control in his Construction Documents. Terry utilizes a wide range of CADD programs, mainly AutoCad, REVIT, Cadvance, and Sketchup. He can accurately monitor cost projections for his/your designs utilizing the most current computerized building cost information. He also maintains an extensive library of current building material catalogues, building codes and regulations.
Firearms & Personal Defense Instructor
Terry is an NRA National Certified Firearms Instructor and Chief Range Safety Officer. His certifications include Personal Defense Inside the Home and Outside the Home. Beginning in 2010 he volunteers his time with LTS Tactical, a Civilian Defensive Training establishment based in Roseburg Oregon consisting of Defense Pistol/Firearms Courses and Concealed Handgun License (CHL) certification for the State of Oregon. He has successfully trained hundreds of students, both male and female, ranging between eight to eighty-five years of age. Training includes all types of legally owned firearms including basic firearms operation and maintenance, firearms safety, safe storage solutions, through to medium and advance personal defense situations and applications.
